1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Page Intent ("Company", "we", "our", "us"), a SaaS platform that automates the generation of meta descriptions, keywords, and page titles by analyzing competitor websites. By registering for an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Account Registration & Security
To access the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. Accounts registered by bots or automated methods are not permitted.
3. Description of Service & License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access our platform to generate SEO metadata (titles, meta descriptions, keywords) based on analysis of competitor URLs you provide.
Restriction: You may not resell, distribute, or replicate the core functionality of our platform for commercial purposes without our express written consent.
4. User Conduct & Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service:
- For Illegal Purposes: To violate any applicable laws, including intellectual property laws, trademark laws, or regulations regarding unfair competition.
- To Infringe on Rights: To generate metadata that intentionally misleads consumers by using competitor trademarks in a manner that creates "initial interest confusion" or unfairly diverts traffic.
- To Abuse the Platform: To reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- To "Scrape" Illegally: To use the Service to bypass technological measures that restrict access to competitor websites (e.g., circumventing IP blocks or CAPTCHAs).
5. Intellectual Property & Generated Content
Our IP
The platform, software, algorithms, and dashboard are the exclusive property of Page Intent.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the URLs and data you input. We claim no ownership over your website data.
Generated Content
We assign all rights, title, and interest in the generated metadata (Output) to you. However:
- We do not warrant that the generated metadata does not infringe upon third-party trademarks or intellectual property
- We do not guarantee specific rankings or visibility outcomes on search engines
- You are solely responsible for reviewing the Output for compliance with search engine policies and trademark laws
6. Third-Party Services & Data
Our Service analyzes publicly available data. You acknowledge that access to competitor websites may be restricted by their robots.txt or technical barriers. We are not liable for the unavailability of such data.
Important: Any data obtained through the Service regarding search engine results must not be used to compete with or adversely affect the business interests of the search engine providers.
7. Credit System
How Credits Work
Page Intent operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you perform specific actions within the platform:
- 1 Credit - Generation of meta tags for one service
Credit Purchases
- Credits are purchased in predefined packages and have no expiration date
- Credits are non-refundable except as provided in our refund policy
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts
- We reserve the right to adjust credit pricing with 30 days' notice
Free Credits
New accounts receive 5 free credits upon registration. Promotional credits may be offered from time to time and are subject to specific terms provided at the time of offer.
Credit Usage & Monitoring
You can monitor your credit balance in your dashboard. We will send email notifications when your credit balance falls below 20% of your last purchase. We are not liable for service interruptions due to insufficient credits.
8. AI & Output Disclaimer
⚠️ No Warranty on Accuracy
The Service utilizes AI to generate suggestions. AI is probabilistic and may produce "hallucinations," inaccuracies, or outdated information. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and legality of all content generated before publishing.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Page Intent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, resulting from your use of the Service or the implementation of generated metadata. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the six (6) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Page Intent from any claims arising out of your use of the generated content, specifically including claims of trademark infringement or unfair competition related to competitor keyword usage.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms, particularly if we suspect misuse of competitor trademarks or abusive scraping behavior.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
